NAMs on the NIH Roadmap

Whether you call them “Novel Alternative Methods”, “New Approach Methods”, or non-animal methods, NAMs research is gaining support at NIH.

Biomedical researchers working to promote human-relevant science will be happy to see these recommendations presented at the December meeting of the NIH Advisory Committee to the Director. Thank you to the ACD Working Group led by Howard Chang and Lyric Jorgenson, on Catalyzing the Development and Use of Novel Alternative Methods (NAMs) to Advance Biomedical Research.
